Roaming the East Village on a Sunday night

This weekend we had a bout of beautiful warm winter weather, and I took advantage of the scenario and spent some time outside, wandering the East Village. I cozied up in one of my favorite cafes in the neighborhood, Yaffa Cafe, for hours with my friend while we ate course after course with intermittent breaks for coffin nails.
The pleasant temperatures the past few days have me supremely looking forward to Springtime. I can't wait for bare legs and wine in the park. The whole city brightens up and is teeming with life when the flowers start to bloom and children are breaking fire hydrants to jump around in.
